Happy new year to all ye who reade...

I am feeling hugely tired... Too many late night films and late mornings in bed!! Ahhhh I love the holidays! It's only fun when JT has time off too. Last night we partied the night away at Matt and Suzie's with a lot of Singstar action, the usual lethal fireworks precariously balanced in a very small space, a token blast of Jools and a late night.

Yes, we have been thinking about New Year's resolutions, as it seems as good a time as any to reassess what is happening in life, the universe and things in between! After much painstaking thought, I have come to the conclusion that the only way to keep new year's resolutions is to either choose something inevitable like 'to increase in age', or to choose things that are ongoing. For this reason, we all come out with things such as 'I will be a better person, improve my relationship with God, exercise more, learn to cook, give more away, be a better wife, practice my music more, work harder at Uni, get in touch with long lost friends and relatives....' the list goes on. Then it starts to get a bit more ambitious/ridiculous and you venture into the world of fantasy in which a year seems a perfectly reasonable amount of time to make your first million, buy a house, produce a number one best-selling album, become famous (maybe the prime minister) and then go and spend a month living in a mud hut with the destitute to regain a sense of humility and selflessness. EH!??! Brains are weird, especially when you sit down and use them.

Still, there is something about a fresh set of digits in the dateline that causes you to feel almost as though you are hovering in mid-air aout 5ft off the ground and that something is about to happen (is that just me?) Whatever it is, I don't want to miss it. Whatever happens this year, I hope and pray that we are able to make good and wise decisions in all that we do. Here's to the hovering - enjoy the ride!!

Loving the tenuous (that REALLY doesn't look right, look at me, useless English student...) link to the picture of what has to be described as a Disney Classic Nai! xxx
