VASELINE...THE PURE TOUCH




Well, this is it! The moment you have all been waiting for (minus one image - sorry!) Since this is a group project, we have had to work together to come up with a final campaign and, whilst I would have loved to make it amusing, we had to work with the so-called 'ethics' of advertising and stick to a campaign that had the tone of voice of: pure, clean, gentle and trustworthy. It had to advocate family unity, security etc blah blah blah.
This is a campaign that will operate over a period of five months. The images themselves represent a progression of time and the aim is to remind people of the same message ("the pure touch") for five months, but refreshing the images so that they do not become like yesterday's newspaper lining today's bin. I have a whole spiel to deliver on Monday about the concept but I shan't bore you to tears unless you ask!! Much as we wanted to do a creative and inventive campaign, the simplicity of the product and its packaging forced a simple concept and result.
Oh! The grammatical error on one of them has been corrected, but the final version is on my friend's computer.

Very good mate! How come my use of vaseline to stop rust on a car didn't make it in? Just kidding, it's really good. I noticed on the preggers lady you can see a tiny foot poking through! Cute!!
