Strawberries!!

Today JT and I decided to go strawberry picking at the A&A fruit farm in Shurdington. I think I was possibly slightly more excited than JT but he did his best to appear enthralled by the rows and rows of chest level (Nai T)/belly level (JT) strawberries in grow bags on stands!! We picked a whole basket and took photos, it was great!!

After that we went to fly JT's kite up the hill. It was almost windy and then did get a little bit windy for a while. Just in time for JT to generously let a family with a young boy (who were struggling to fly Delta kites) have a go. Just as we were packing up, Nai T got attacked by a swarm of killer red flying ants!!! It was so scary!! JT heroically beat them away whilst Nai T stood and sprayed at them feebly with her "Impulse tease" body spray!! (Class!)

Just as we were really leaving and JT was slightly embarrassingly (for him) picking up Nai T's pink blanket, handbag and ant-eaten copy of Northanger Abbey (and the sparkly pink sunglasses!) Keith Hitchman appeared with his friend! Nai T (equally embarrassed), was photographing a sheep!! What a fun day :-) I think we are going out for a meal now which is REALLY exciting!
