Christmas tree drama!!

I am hugely excited because JT bought our Christmas tree today!!! I had suggested that a sizeable one might be good given that we have nice high ceilings and was delighted when JT returned with an 8ft whopper!! Hooray!!

The drama that then ensued... The lovely Weon came to tea (Anne is in Canada with Nae Lippett at the moment) and the poor man had to accompany me to Sainsbury's to BUY us some sour cream as for some reason my card is being rejected?! Hmmmm.... We ate tea which was delicious (I say this because JT cooked and Owen brought pudding, I'm not being arrogant!!)

Then it came to the tree... As is tradition, it would not go in the pot! A saw, a hammer and many wobbles later it was eventually standing precariously. JT fixed the angel to the top and now the floor is coated with pine needles (soft ones so that Twinkle and Monty don't hurt themselves) and there is a lovely Christmassy/Mexican smell about the house (Mexican because of dinner).

How exciting!!
