One for the gadget lovers...

In a moment of spontaneity last week, Pete, Sarah, Luke, JT and I went to the Air Balloon after a delicious meal at Pete and Sarah's. On the table we found these gadgets, whereby you can press the different buttons to summon your bill, a waiter, a drink etc. The staff are alerted "on a discreet screen" (which turned out to be a TFT monitor!!) and come running to your assistance.

Clearly I wasn't the only visitor with 'buttons tourettes' (whenever I see a button I have to press itm it is very concerning!!) as they completely ignored Pete and me pressing away at all the buttons (Pete was trying to press all four at once to see if they would all light up). Nonetheless, a potentially good idea. I can imagine the staff getting fed up as soon as a small child comes in for Sunday lunch and has to wait 20 minutes for food. Buttons.... Mmmmmmmm.....!
