To break or not to break?
This post in response to Luke's post about breaking the law... Read it here. I was originally just writing a reply to his topic but it has got me thinking. There is also a fantastic post on there about where we should be - do read it if you are up for a challenge.
anyway... I was musing about this in the shower the other day (believe it or not?!?) and I was wondering about why people think it is ok to break some laws and not others. I wondered why I myself have been tempted to break the law in the realm of speeding etc. Then I wondered what I would do as an advocate for obiding by the law if Christianity were to become illegal. Obviously, I would break the law, making me hypocritical. Is it ok therefore to break laws that don't affect or endanger others? Well, not really. Thoughts/Musings/Ponderings?
