Quality NHS

Two weeks later as I am starting to recover from my illness, the doctors have come up with a diagnosis - wahey! I have had campylobacter apparently which can actually be quite serious (as I tried to tell them on the phone, but it took 8 days before a doctor would see me and a further 6 days to analyse the tests!!) Ahhhh don't you love the NHS? It probably isn't strictly their fault, I imagine that the government have enforced a bit of their new prison policy onto them and told them not to see anyone unless they are about to drop dead!!
The doctor also gave me antibiotics which apparently they don't normally do unless it is pretty bad - I thought they were being a bit cautious when telling me I didn't have to take them if I thought I might be getting better! Still I have taken them and am hoping that it has sped up getting rid of the infection. I feel quite rough today and am still very very tired (having afternoon naps each day!! I feel like a baby or a pensioner!!) but I have been improving and did a pub quiz last night, went to church Sunday morning and went into town with JT Saturday. Things are looking up.
Poor Twinkle was spayed today and she is looking rather bald and confused with a large lampshade collar on her... Monty has gone for a little holiday with my parents so that he doesn't torment her in her fragile state!!
