POOdles

Look out for them on the shelf... A new module launch today with the challenge to design a product/packaging/advertising methods for a product that you wouldn't buy. Ideas such as tartan paint, rat tail soup, stick on zits, e-numbers for kids etc came into the equation, along with a few more rude items before each person had to settle on an idea. After much deliberation over whether or not to do "trapped wind" (comes in a pressurized canister, depress button lightly or with great gusto depending upon the sort of relief required!) I decided that spending five weeks on such a task might drive me mad, so I came up with the idea of POOdles.

What is a POOdle? It is an ingenious device to encourage children to wash their hands after going to the toilet (especially if they have been playing with poo! As you do.) It is a dog-shaped soap dispenser, where you will press down the tail and hey presto! Out comes a trail of soap from the nether regions! I did consider doing a foam soap variety that comes out of the dog's mouth, but I am not sure yet. I will show you when it is done, as I have no idea how to illustrate it!! the logo is supposed to be brown and blue, but I think it may come out wrong on here...
