They nicked a swan!!!
Earlier we rushed to the window to watch a herd of 'real gypsies' trotting up the London Road with their caravans. We were intrigued, more than anything. As the last caravan sailed past JT peered out of the window and observed "They've nicked a SWAN!?" Sure enough, seated comfortably on its own little trailer carriage, traveling up the London Road was, a swan! You see something (let alone learn something) new every day.

That's a criminal offence as all swans belong to the Queen! B.H. and Rayfield would have something very politically incorrect to say about gypsies at this point!
