A wild evening!
I'm feeling very bloated and very small... Matt Pinless called JT yesterday on a desperate mission. Could he drive a minibus full of 'Extreme' (16-18 yoof) to Fundays playbarn tonight (Saturday). I was immediately thrilled as the playbarn is one of my favourite ever places! I went for my 19th birthday and apparently they've never had so many injuries...:-S Ooops.
Anyway, I turned up at Trinity and found all the big children sitting outside. Apart from the fact that it was all a bit scary, I felt ok...Until they stood up... Suddenly I was the smallest person in the world as they were all at least a foot taller! I haven't felt so daunted in a long time and went very shy.
Playbarn was carnage as usual with the drop slide, the rainbow slide, the ball pit (of death) etc - again, I will post photos soon. I was still feeling very shy and noone really wanted to play with me. JT was having too much fun killing Matt Pinless (or vice versa?!) in the ball pit so he couldn't play either :-(
Still I had great fun on the drop slide and eventually a game of giant tag was started in the dark with disco lights. Miraculously there weren't TOO many injuries.
JT, Matt, Dave, Joe and I went to Golden Mountain afterwards for food which was great fun and highly amusing, especially when we decided to play truth or dare with the lazy susan and a shot glass full of mint imperials! So now I am feeling rather full, after a wedding yesterday and a Chinese today!
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz... I spent all day writing my essay and I am only about 3/4 of the way through let alone the bibliography which takes AGES! Tomorrow should be a barrel of laughs.
We will eagerly await news of Patsy Poppins, office tart.
