Yippeeee!!!

I was unbelievably excited this morning when JT told me to look out the window. So much so in fact that I jumped out of bed, let out a shriek upon viewing the white garden and then promptly fell back on the bed (on Twinkle!) because I had stood up too quickly and all the blood had gone straight to my head. I then danced around the flat singing because of the snow (even after JT had left for work) and got dressed and ate breakfast as quickly as I could, so that I could go out with the camera and its fancy lens which was bargainously traded for the infamous computer software that I didn't want (if I mention the name they are sure to trace it!!) and apparently wasn't allowed to sell on eBay.

I had a lovely walk to and through Pittville Park and took lots of white photos. There were lots of other keen photographers out (some even had tripods!) I then kind of ice-skated through town and got a slightly scary bus to my parents' house, where I put Monty in the snow to take photos!! Thankfully he loved it and didn't want to go back in. I think I slightly exceeded today's energy allowance as I am now feeling poorly :-( DEFINITELY worth it though and JT is planning to leave work early so that we can attempt sledging!! WOOOHOOOOO! GUTTED that it is all melting already :-(
